| Each year the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) – Central Ohio Chapter and its members volunteer their technicians, trucks and resources to provide heating assistance to less fortunate homeowners in Columbus who could not otherwise afford to have their heating systems cleaned and checked and to have their homes checked for high levels of carbon monoxide Since 2004, close to 500 recipients in Columbus have received the services offered through this program all screened and monitored through the Columbus/Franklin County Community Action Agency (formerly the Weatherization Dept. of CMACAO). |
